Matthew Yan

Matthew is a junior at Boston College studying biochemistry, philosophy, and public health. He is highly interested in perfecting new lab techniques and learning the theory behind all things related to cancer metabolism. He envisions a future career where he can incorporate biological research with practical medicinal applications to enhance the lives of as many people as possible.
True to his California roots, Matthew enjoys hiking and persevering to the top of high mountains. His ultimate goal is to ascend the seven highest mountains on each continent: The Seven Summits.

Jonas obtained his Bachelor´s Degree in Biochemistry from Wuerzburg, Germany. Subsequently, he started his Master in Biochemistry, focusing on molecular oncology. He loves traveling, parties, making new friends, spending holidays in the Mediterranean area and good beer & wine.

Tiziana has received her PhD in Lausanne, Switzerland, where she studied the onset of obesity-induced inflammation in the adipose tissue. In her spare time she enjoys cooking and spending time with friends. She is also a bike lover and passionate about scuba diving and skiing.”
